Alternatives
For Children provides many programs for children from birth to 5 years
at our 4 sites in Setauket, Melville, Aquebogue and Southampton.
Our Early Intervention
Program was designed to provide instruction to children up to the
age of 3 at home or in the community.
Our Preschool Programs provide services to children ages 3 to 5 years
who require the additional support of smaller classrooms and

At
Alternatives For Children we help up to 600 children each year by
providing special education services along with speech therapy,
occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychological and social work
services, music and dance therapies, vision services and any other
service deemed appropriate by the county or local school district.
We provide these services as well as evaluations at no cost to
families through funding from the state, county and local school
district. |
